Treatment Philosophy

I believe it is important to look for the cause of the injury and/or pain and not just treat the symptoms. I treat the whole body by strengthening muscles that are weak and stretching muscles that have shortened and restrict motion. I also examine how my patients move. Many times it is not what a person is doing but how they are doing it that can cause an injury.

I use manual therapy, dry needling, cupping, kinesiology taping, therapeutic exercises and aquatic therapy to restore range of motion, mobility and improve overall function.

My goal is to return my patients back to their active lifestyles whether it is running a 5K, competing in an Ironman triathlon or starting an exercise program for the first time. I want to help my patients achieve their goals and be their life-long health care provider.
